TPA University - CSFS® Designee Summit
Date: July 14, 2015
Registration:
Registration for the CSFS® Designee Summit is separate from TPA University registration and by invitation only for CSFS® Designees. If you are a CSFS Designee and did not receive information regarding registration please contact Mary Pat McGlynn at marypat@hcaa.org
About the Summit:
HCAA will hold its Inaugural CSFS® Designee Summit the afternoon of Tuesday, July 14. As this is the Six (6) year anniversary of the launch of the CSFS® program, it is especially exciting to have it coincide with this first invitation-only meeting of HCAA’s CSFS® designees. In honor of this first CSFS® anniversary, the summit will be brought to you FREE of charge.
The Summit will bring CSFS® Designees up to date with current changes and challenges affecting the self funding industry. It will provide four sessions that will update the seven course CSFS®content. Designees have wanted a CSFS® update. Here is your opportunity to freshen your designation and to also meet with other Designees to share information.
Join us for the Inaugural CSFS® Designee Summit and let us demonstrate “the Value of Connection” to you!

Landscape of ERISA Today
presented by Josh Sears, JD of Freestone Corporate Law
ERISA has been operating efficiently for many years by providing employers a framework from which to administer multi-benefit programs uniformly across multiple states. But, state-based power-grabs, regulatory “gobbledy-gook”, high-court decisions, the fear-mongering of politicians (and even some misguided folk within our own industry) challenge and threaten to erode the very construct from which it has thrived so successfully for decades. Understanding ERISA and impacts of the ACA on its mandates (for good and ill) is of critical importance so you can assist in protecting this framework and best serve your clients.
