HCAA relies on the great work of volunteers to help us achieve our goals and continue to support the TPA Industry. Working on a committee is a great way to meet others in the association while giving back to help our association continue to grow! Below is a list of the current committees.

Audit and Finance Committee
Chair:
Jean Sukovez, Coastal TPA, Inc.
This committee is responsible for the implementation oversight of the annual Association Financial Audit and for selection of its auditor. Duties include securing and working with selected vendor, reviewing audit results and providing feedback for Association process improvements.

Communications Committee
Chair:
Jean Sukovez, Coastal TPA, Inc.
This committee is responsible for overseeing and making recommendations for changes to the HCAA website and for publishing the newsletter. The committee is also responsible for the development and implementation of a plan to market HCAA and the TPA industry.

Conference Planning Committee
Chairs:
Carol Berry, HCAA and Julie Wohlstein, Community Health Group
This committee has two current task forces: Executive Forum Task Force and TPA University Task Force. Each task force is responsible for creating the themes of the conferences, identifying topics and speakers, and approving presentation content. The task forces will support HCAA staff as needed in planning of conference logistics.

Education Committee
Chair:
Walt Pregizer, Keenan
This committee is responsible for the development, promoting and management of the Certified Self Funding Specialist (CSFS) certification program. It is also responsible for the development of additional education programs to support the HCAA mission, such as webinars, sponsored seminars, etc.

Legislative & Regulatory Committee
Chair:
Cori Cook, CMC Consulting, LLC
This committee is responsible to assisting with the recruitment and retention of HCAA members. Duties include developing member benefits, making recommendations for changes and/or new benefits as opportunities arise, and participating in membership drives and campaigns.

Membership Committee
Chair:
Nancy Young, INETICO, Inc.
This committee is responsible to assisting with the recruitment and retention of HCAA members. Duties include developing member benefits, making recommendations for changes and/or new benefits as opportunities arise, and participating in membership drives and campaigns.

Sponsorship Committee
Chair:
Linda Ludwick, Capitol Administrators
This Committee is responsible for evaluating the annual sponsorship campaign and making recommendations to the Board, as needed. This Committee will also assist in finding and securing sponsors for annual corporate sponsorships and the individual conference sponsorships. The Committee works closely with Association staff to assure that items that are being sponsored are appropriate and affordable.
