HCAA relies on the great work of volunteers to help us achieve our goals and continue to support the TPA Industry. Working on a committee is a great way to meet others in the association while giving back to help our association continue to grow! Below is a list of the current committees.

Education Committee
Chairs:
Jack Feingold and Walt Pregizer
This committee is responsible for the development and management of the Certified Self Funding Specialist® designation program. This includes the development and ongoing evaluation of the test materials, marketing, and overall implementation of the program. Additionally, the current strategic plan identifies the following additional duties for the Education Committee:
I. Increase participation in the CSFS® designation
II. Increase the awareness of the educational resource HCAA provides to TPAs and policy makers.

Executive Forum Committee
Chairs:
Carol Berry and Julie Wohlstein
This committee is responsible for creating the theme of the conference, identifying topics and speakers, and approving presentation content before publishing. The committee will support HCAA staff as needed in planning of logistics. Additionally, this committee is responsible for developing marketing methods that will continue to increase participation of TPAs at the annual conference. Planning for this conference should begin immediately following the TPA University, if not before.

Government Regulations and Regulatory Compliance Committee
Chair:
Debi Hardwick
This committee is responsible for serving as a legislative watchdog for HCAA members, communicating legislative updates as needed to the membership. This committee shall also identify and recommend to the Board opportunities to support organizations that have legislative efforts which support our industry. Additionally, the current strategic plan identifies the following additional duties for the GRA Committee:
I. Increase the effectiveness of money spent for government and regulatory affairs (GRA) activities.
II. Position ourselves to impact policy and legislative decision making.

Membership Committee
Chair:
Nancy Young
This committee is responsible to assist with the recruitment and retention of HCAA members. Duties include evaluating member benefits, making recommendations for change and/or new benefits as opportunities arise, and establishing and implementing a membership campaign. The current strategic plan specifically identifies the following additional duties for the Membership committee:
I. Increased number and geographic disbursement of TPA membership

Public Relations Committee
Chair:
Jean P. Sukovez
This committee is responsible for overseeing and making recommendations for change to the HCAA website and the newsletter. The committee is also responsible for the development and implementation of a plan to market HCAA and the TPA industry. The current strategic plan identifies the following additional duties for the Public Relations Committee:
I. Increase recognition of HCAA among key stakeholders.
II. Increase opportunities for providing our expertise and leadership.
III. Increased participation in educational forums via Webinars

Sponsorship Committee
Chair:
Linda Ludwick
This committee is responsible for evaluating the annual sponsorship campaign and making recommendations for benefits to the Board, as needed. This committee will also assist in finding and securing sponsors for annual corporate sponsorships and the individual conference sponsorships.

TPA University Committee
Chairs:
