HCAA and Make-A-Wish® North Texas Join Forces to Make a Difference in a Child’s Life
Make-A-Wish® North Texas grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Since its inception in 1982, more than 9,000 wishes have been granted throughout the 161 counties they serve. Their goal is to be a unique part of the treatment process. With doctors providing the medicine, and Make-A-Wish® supplying the magic, they strive to create miracles in the lives of some very extraordinary children.
A wish come true helps children feel stronger, more energetic, more willing and able to battle their life-threatening medical conditions. For many, the wish marks a turning point in the fight against their illnesses. Doctors, nurses and other health professionals say, the wish experience works in concert with medicine to make their patients feel better emotionally and even physically. That is why wishes matter. That is why Make-A-Wish® grants wishes.
The Goal: Our goal is to have a “give back” project during TPA Summit to donate to Make-A-Wish® North Texas. We have set an initial goal of $2,500.
The Idea: Attendees will visit Partner/Sponsor tables during TPA Summit and will receive a star for each visit. Ten stars will complete their star received at registration. Each completed star from an attendee will count as $20 toward our goal of a $2500 contribution.
To learn more and understand our goal, we invite you to take in this video below and visit www.ntx.wish.org. Please help us share the power of a wish®.

Clean the World Hygiene Kit Assembly - sponsored by Ventanex
After reaching our goal at Executive Forum 2016, we are bringing back the Clean the World Hygiene kit assembly project, sponsored by Ventanex.
During the days of the conference take a few minutes to walk through the assembly line and make your kit. End the process with writing a personal note to the recipient and your done!
Our goal is 200 kits assembled before TPA Summit 2016 is done on Friday the 15th.
Completed kits will be donated to Crossroad Community Services in the Dallas area. Crossroad Community Services nourishes people and powers change by providing fair, effective, and efficient delivery of nutritious food, clothing and household items to low-income households in Dallas and surrounding communities.
