TPA Summit 2016 Sees the Most TPAs Ever at an HCAA Summer Conference

The Health Care Administrator’s Association wishes to thank its attendees, speakers, partners and sponsors of the 2016 TPA Summit, held in Dallas, July 13-15. The successful conference witnessed the largest attendance ever of TPAs at an HCAA summer conference.
HCAA CEO Carol Berry added her appreciation and comment: “For more than 35 years, our association has been supporting the educational, legislative, advisory and networking needs of third-party administrators and the self-funding industry. At this year’s newly restructured TPA Summit, we developed a diverse forum of educational sessions across distinct leadership, operations and marketing paths and it’s clear that the new formula resonated with our members. The self-funding industry has never been stronger and at HCAA, we like to convey to our members that ‘their business is our mission.’”
In addition to the educational sessions and exhibit hall, HCAA’s fundraising efforts at the conference drove its members to donate $7,500 to the North Dallas Make-A-Wish program, while attendees put together more than 200 hygiene kits for the Ventanex Save-the-World project.
HCAA’s upcoming Executive Forum will be held in Las Vegas, next February 8-10, 2017 while the next TPA Summit will be held in St. Louis, July 11-13, 2017 where HCAA will continue to pose the question, “Why not a TPA?”
