HCAA relies on the great work of volunteers to help us achieve our goals and continue to support the TPA Industry. Working on a committee or a task force is a great way to meet others in the association while giving back to help our association continue to grow! Below is a list of the current committees and task forces. 

Content Committee

In keeping with our mission of Education, we have merged our two conference task forces into one Content Committee.  As with the task forces, the Content Committee will be responsible for creating the themes of the conferences, identifying topics and speakers, and approving presentation content. The Committee will also provide Association staff with recommendations for webinars and podcasts that would benefit our members.

Membership Ambassadors

This group is responsible for contacting first time conference attendees prior to each conference to make them welcome and to offer information about our HCAA conferences.  Some Ambassadors make phone calls or send emails, some meet with the first time attendee prior to the conference beginning.  Our Ambassadors make sure that the First Time Attendees feel welcomed to the conference and are introduced to other attendees.    

Sponsorship Committee

This Committee is responsible for evaluating the annual sponsorship campaign and making recommendations to the Board, as needed.  This Committee assists in finding and securing sponsors for annual corporate sponsorships and the individual conference sponsorships. The Committee works closely with HCAA staff to assure that items that are being sponsored are appropriate and affordable.
