Danielle Perrodin, PharmD, Clinical Account Executive
Weighing in on GLP-1s: Effective Payer Strategies features Liviniti experts Donovan Strader, PharmD, BCPS, Sr. Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services and Danielle Perrodin, PharmD, Clinical Account Executive, who will share clinical and cost management solutions, and lifestyle approaches to help guide plan sponsors as they navigate the challenging GLP-1 landscape. They will offer insights into market trends and increasing demand for these anti-obesity medications, as well as guide plan design considerations to help manage cost.
Research predicts that 24 million people, or 7% of the US population, will rely on GLP-1s for weight loss by 2035. To prepare for continued high demand and financial pressures, plan sponsors need to act now to develop solid management approaches for weight-loss coverage decisions, including the importance of incorporating behavioral health programs into plan strategies. In addition to lifestyle management, prior authorization related to A1C levels or body mass index can help ensure proper utilization. Attend this session for a focused perspective that anticipates and helps plan sponsors meet the needs of their members while preparing for the continuing surge in this class of medications.
The webinar will conclude with a Q&A Session
